Blade Saver is a mixture of water based cleaning agents that affect acids contained in pitch, gum and resin buildup on fouled woodworking cutting tools. BladeSaver's agents cause the acids to react reducing the holding strength of the pitch build-up on the tooling surface, thus causing the deposits to lose their grip and release from the tool surface.
